Meet Anat Joseph
Anat Joseph is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Psychoanalyst based in New York and New Jersey. She holds a Master’s degree from New York University and is certified as a Psychoanalyst. Anat is a faculty member and training analyst at The Institute for Psychoanalytic Studies, Inc. She also maintains a private practice, offering individualized therapy for clients of all ages, including children, adolescents, and adults.
Anat specializes in treating individuals facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and complex relational difficulties. She has particular expertise in working with children and adolescents, providing short-term and long-term support within and outside school settings. Her therapeutic approach is informed by psychoanalytic principles, creating a space for deep exploration and understanding for lasting change.
Having lived in Europe and worked with clients from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds, Anat brings a broad, inclusive perspective to her practice. She is fluent in German, Hebrew, and English, allowing her to connect with a wide range of individuals from varied backgrounds.
